Privacy policy

Otvori račun is a free, non-commercial community project. We collect as little data as possible: only what the comments and the site need to work. Visit statistics are collected only with your consent.

What stays in your browser only

What you type into the application builder (name, address, passport number, EBS and so on) is never sent anywhere: the document is assembled on your device. These fields, your language and your city are saved in the browser's storage (localStorage) so you don't have to type them again. You can erase them with the “Clear my data” button on the templates page or by clearing the site's data in your browser.

Comments and signing in with Google or Telegram

Comments run on our own server comments.otvoriracun.rs (Remark42 software). When you sign in with Google or Telegram, the service receives your name, profile picture and account ID. A comment is stored with its text, time and votes. Your name and picture are shown to other visitors next to your comments. Your email address is not published and is not used for mailings. You can also comment anonymously, without signing in.

To keep you signed in, the comment service sets cookies on the comments.otvoriracun.rs domain. There are no ads on the site.

Technical data

Site traffic goes through Cloudflare (attack protection and page delivery). Like any server, Cloudflare and our web server keep technical logs: IP address, time of request, page address. The logs are used to prevent abuse, are kept for a limited time and are deleted automatically.

Visit statistics (Google Analytics)

Only if you click “Allow” in the statistics notice does the site load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Google LLC). It sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies for up to 13 months and sends Google information about the pages you view, where you came from, your device, browser and approximate location (city). Advertising features and Google Signals are turned off. Google may process the data, including on servers outside Serbia. You can change your choice at any time with the “Statistics settings” link at the bottom of the page; if you decline, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.

Who receives the data

We do not sell your data. Visit statistics go to Google only with your consent (see above). When you sign in, Google and Telegram pass us only the details listed above, with your consent in their sign-in window.

How long data is kept

Comments and your profile are kept until you delete them or a moderator removes them (for example, for breaking the rules).

Your rights

Under Serbia's Law on Personal Data Protection (Zakon o zaštiti podataka o ličnosti, “Sl. glasnik RS” 87/2018) you can find out what data about you is stored, correct it or ask for it to be deleted. You can edit or delete your own comment for a few minutes after posting, and delete all your data with a request in your comment profile or through us. If you believe your rights have been violated, you can contact the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (Poverenik): poverenik.rs.
